Spectrophotometry is one of the most common methods of quantitatively analyzing formaldehyde emissions from wood-based panel products. The comparative studies on the precision, limit, coloration stability and variability of formaldehyde concentration were conducted among acetylacetone method,MBTH Sawicki’s reagent method and chromotropic acid method. The results provided a reference for selecting proper quantifying method for detecting formaldehyde emissions from wood-based panel products.
