To reduce the cost of cork-based panels, lower cost Eulaliopsis binata fiber was used as a substitute and mixed with cork to make low density cork and Eulaliopsis binata fiber composite. The effects of four selected processing parameters(ratio of Eulaliopsis binata fibers, glue content, pressing temperature, and pressing time) on water resistance, tensile strength, condensability, and rebound elasticity were evaluated. The result showed that the optimized parameters included 20% fiber ratio,8% glue content,150 ℃ pressing temperature, and 15 minute pressing time.
