XING Jia-qi. Laboratory Inhibition of the Dominant Moulds Isolated from Chinese Common Rattan[J]. China Wood Industry, 2005,(5):23-24. DOI: 10.19455/j.mcgy.2005.05.008.
A laboratory inhibition test was conducted to evaluate the abilities of 4 kinds of preservatives against 4 dominant moulds (Penicillium oxalicum, Aspergillus japonicus, Lasiodiplodia theobromae and Mucro spp.) that were isolated from 2 common species of rattan (Calamus tetradactylus and C. simplicifolius) in China. Results showed that among those preservatives the author selected, DDAC had the most effective protection against the isolates. When the concentration was 2%, the inhibition index for all the isolates was above 93.
