Abstract

sixteen preservatives were tested for their effects in protecting timber against termites with wood stakes in the field, Nanping, Fujian province, according to the timber degree damaged by termites and fungi. Results showed that CCA (B) , OP-2 were effective, applicable for wood preservation outdoor Index of performances of CCA (B) at 5% a. i, 7.00kg/m~3 (dry salts retention) were 100 and 90 after 6 and 8 years′ tests respectively. FCCA and BBP were at 3-5% a. i, 5-7kg/m~3 (DSR), low cost, suitable for indoor uses.
