The molded pallets were made from wood particles blended with phenolic formaldehyde adhesive. Effects of resin content, hot-press temperature and hot-press time on the physical and mechanical properties of molded pallets were investigated using an orthogonal design method. The the optimization of processing parameters was found at 20% of resin content, 200 ℃ of hot-press temperature and 10 min of hot-press time. The moisture content, the density and the thickness swelling ratio after 24-hour water soaking and the bending resistance of molded pallets met the requirements of GB/T 30672 — 2014"Moulded flat pallets from plants fiber" respectively.
