The scale of furniture industry in China has been kept rapid growing with significant increasing of production value. But it is getting more and more difficult for traditional furniture companies to make profits with original equipment manufacturers（OEM） mode, which forces the traditional OEM furniture companies to upgrade and transform through different ways. In this article, the problems and challenges faced by the traditional OEM furniture companies were analyzed. Several models and experience of successful upgrading OEM companies were presented for reference to the other OEM furniture companies in China.
