A prototype corrugated bamboo-mat plywood was prepared using a molding process. The influences of moisture contents, resin contents and forming angles in the molding process on mechanical properties and molding performance were evaluated. The results showed that:modulus of rupture(MOR) and maximum compressive load of the plywood decreased with increasing moisture contents, and increased with increasing resin contents.Furthermore, the plywood deformation decreased with increasing forming angles. The optimum conditions for making the corrugated bamboo-mat plywood were determined as 15% moisture content, 15% resin content and 45°forming angle.Under these conditions, the modulus of rupture, maximum compressive load and deformation of the plywood were 46.32 MPa, 81.78 N and 0°, respectively.
