This article reviewed the production and trade status of the Chinese furniture industry for 2011.Generally,furniture production outputs,profits and exports improved when compared to those of 2010.The total production of Chinese wood furniture for 2011 increased by 25.28% with most of them coming from domestically-owned companies.Sales rates increased faster in the mid-west region than those from the eastern region.The export value was also expanded by 15.31% with the foreign trade surplus increased.
