Characteristics and performance of newly-developed wood-plastic flooring products were evaluated in this paper.After comparing with the performance criteria of the National Flooring Product Standard for commonly-used laminated wood flooring,the wood-plastic flooring product exhibited superior water resistant performance.However,the wood-plastic composite needed improvement in its impact and thermal properties.It was suggested that a product specification and standard for the newly-developed wood-plastic flooring should be established in the future.
