The leaching characteristics of copper in 4 kinds of copper triazole treated Moso Bamboo (Phyllostachys pubescens) were determined according to the AWPA E 11-97 standard. The results indicated that copper fixation rate from organic acid salts, such as citrate and oxalate and malate, was less than copper triazole formulations. Copper fixation rate could be increased along with raising the retention level. While the retention level was within 6.56,7,.31 kg/m,3, the copper fixation rate of ammonia-based copper triazole treated bamboo was higher than that of ethanolamine-based copper triazole treated bamboo.
