The purpose of this paper is to study the technology for manufacturing wood-cement particleboard by hot-pressing. After studing the technologi cal variables concerned, such as temperature and time of hot-pressing, water/cement ratio, cement/wood ratio, additive and board density, a series of multivariables regression equations were built up. In addition. some factory such as particle geometries were also discussed. The results showed that the hot-pressing temperature and particle geometries have a great effect on the properties of board; as compared to cold pressing, the hot-pressing process can make the hydration of cement faster, the initial strength of board higher and the curing time of board shorter It is summed up that the hot-pressing method can simplify the wood-cement particleboard manufacturing process without any loss in physical and mechanical properties of the board.
