Studies were undertaken to screen and modify the preservative that have better performance in the world now Two new wood preservatives—ACB （provisional name） and CCB-M were obtained. Determinations of main indexes, such as decay resistance, ternite resistance, anti-coloring fungi and moulds, leaching, fire resistance, metal corrosion, LD,50, were carried out. The results showed that two formulations had good performance. ACB is more suitable to treat wood whose natural colors need to be kept for example, rubberwood and constructural timber, etc, and CCB-M is used to treat the timber whose color is not restricted
