Based on an analysis of damage forms of wood-roof structures built in the 1950 s, the authors proposed reinforcing methods for the damaged structures. Finite element analysis was applied to evaluate bearing capacity of the reinforced structures. According to the analyses, weak positions of the structures could be found.
