To develop new types of triazole wood preservatives,decay resistance of hexaconazole,epoxyconazole and triadimenol were tested by laboratory sand block tests.The optimized ratios of triazoles to copper were determined by inhibition zone tests.The results indicated that the suitable ratio of copper/hexaconazole was between 991and 701,copper/epoxyconazole between 1241to 701and copper/triadimenol between 491to 321.When triazole retention was between0.05,0.08kg/m3 and copper triazole retention between 0.8 ,1.0kg/m3,the mass loss rate of the treated wood was 5% or less.
