Sound absorption coefficient of particleboard,low-density fiberboard,wood wool board and wood fiber/polyester fiber composites were measured by an impedance tube instrument and sound absorption coefficient of a wood perforated plate was measured in a reverberation room.The results showed that sound absorption performance of the wood perforated plate was excellent at low frequency,the wood wool board had excellent absorption at mid frequency,the wood fiber/polyester fiber composite and low-density fiberboard had excellent absorption at middle-high frequency while the particleboard had very poor sound absorption at all frequencies.
