Dimension and Concentration of Inhalable Particulates(PM10) during Straw Crushing in a Jiangsu Power Station
Workshop air pollution is one of the most visible environmental problems in China.Inhalable particulates,in particular, have recently drawn more attention due to the pronounced influence on air quality and human health. In this study, the concentration and distribution of total suspended particulates(TSP)were investigated during the straw crushing process. The result showed that the concentration of inhalable particulates, with diameter less than 10 μm(PM10),was much higher than the requirement specified by the national standards, and the proportion of particulates with diameter less than 2.5 μm(PM2.5) reached 0.01%.
