Glue bonding quality is an important factor for bamboo flooring products. The Chinese National Standard Bamboo Flooring（GB/T 20240-2006） established the flooring bonding performance testing method by immersing specimens into 63 ℃ water for 3 hours and then drying them for 10 hours. The authors conducted an experiment to investigate the effect of drying time on flooring glue bonding performance. It was found that most bondline delamination occurred in the first three drying hours.Based on this observation, they suggested that the standard drying time should be shortened to 3 hours when the relevant standards were in revision.
