The author analyzed wood furniture production and product quality in Zhejiang Province to ensure high quality and promote a vigorous development of the furniture industry.He found that there were still lots of quality issues that didn’t meet product standards and the most common ones included poor product design,low mechanical and physical properties,inadequate assembly instructions,high formaldehyde emission,dimensional instability and poor appearance.He also discussed the reasons that caused the problems and presented suggestions for improving product quality and competitiveness.
