The current standard for laminate flooring products,GB/T 18102-2007,has replaced previous standard,GB/T 18102-2000.There are some differences in determining thickness swelling between the two standards.The authors evaluated the differences by testing samples cut from the same board using the two different standards.The results showed that the thickness swelling of the samples met the requirement of previous national standard,but did not reach the specification of the current standard.The authors explained the difference between the two methods and requested the laminate flooring manufacturers to adapt the new standard.
