Research on phytosanitary treatments for wood packaging materials,both in China and abroad,were reviewed. The commonly-used treating methods that were introduced and discussed in this paper included fumigation,chemical pressure impregnation,heat treatment,high frequency microwave treatment,and radiation treatment. The advantages and disadvantages of these different phytosanitary treatments were analyzed. Finally,suggestions for future research to improve fumigation and heat treatments were presented.
