Alternate adsorption-desorption treatments were carried out on Eucalyptus urophylla ×grandis wood through cyclic humidity exposure and recording the real-time tangential shrinkage and bulking properties.The results showed that the initial moisture content had a notable effect on the tangential shrinkage of Eucalyptus urophylla×grandis,while the times of alternate adsorption-desorption treatments only affected the tangential bulking property.The cyclic humidity treatments also shortened the shrinkage and bulking vibration periods,and thus was helpful in alleviating deformation and keeping dimensional stabilization.
