Study on VOC Emissions from Plywood Using a Climate Chamber
A climate chamber was used to study the emission of formaldehyde from plywood. Results showed that under certain conditions, the concentration of formaldehyde emitted quickly increased to a maximum value in several hours, and then began to decline until it reached a steady value. In the steady emission state, environmental factors had remarkable effects on formaldehyde and other VOC emissions.A test on the composition of the emissions found the presence of eight different VOCs.
