Poplar（Populus deltoides） veneers were used to make plywood for concrete forms.With the modulus of elasticity as an index,the effects of glass-fiber cloth,with the following conditions,were studied: various resin contents,addition of a silicone coupling agent,and resin spread at the interface between the veneer and the glass-fiber cloth.Under the optimum parameters obtained from the experimental results,the MOE∥,MOE⊥,MOR∥ and MOR⊥ were improved by 23.6%,35.4%,24.5% and 65.3%,respectively.
