During the past ten years,China’s furniture industry experienced the first fast development stage with a focus on production output expansion.In the next 5~10 years,backed by a booming national economy,rising living standards,growing global demand,and increasing product migration from developed countries to developing countries,the Chinese furniture industry will enter the second rapid development stage with an emphasis on quality improvement,instead of production volume.The industry will grow at a moderate rate by optimizing the industry structure,reducing consumption,and increasing profitability and efficiency,based on an analysis of the production and market for the industry.
