In order to expand wood source of plywood for container flooring, the manufacturing technology of plywood made by Keruing ( Dipterocarpus spp.), Birch ( Betula ) and Kapur ( Dryoba lanops ) as surface material and other species of hardwood from Southeast Asia as core material was studied. The results showed that the physical and mechanical as well preservative properties of the flooring plywood manufactured according to the technical parameters indicated by this study, were able to meet the demands of relative standards both in home and abroad.
