This paper was mainly concerned with the theoretical analysis of quantitative pa-rameters and described how the run-out of a circtilar saw and its rigidity in a given overload-ed condition were applied in assessment of levelling and distribution of tensioning Strees. Thedetecting system developed with 8031 single chip computer as its core was also described.The experiments of applying the method with the detecting system to a variety of circu-lar saws used for wood cutting and to large-sized diamond saws showed that this methodwith the system could be used in industrial operation with great feasibility.
