Heat conductivity, mass heat capacity and thermal conduction of fourkinds of wood chip,which were produced from poplar,birch,basswood,elmtrees,were measured and analysed by using DRM-1 Heat Conductivity Equip-ment.When moisture content changed(dry density of chip bed keeping unchan-ged) from 10% to 90%, the results got from the experimont were that: thevalues of heat conductivity of all kinds of ivood chip decreased significantlywith the decreasing of moisturx content and ranged from 0.17～0.28W/(m·K);the values of thermal conduction decreased with the increasing of moisture con-tent and ranged from 0.0012～0.0034￣2/h;the values of mass heat capacitydecreased with the decreasing of moisture content and ranged from 0.4 ～0.7kJ/(kg·K).The influence of the species of broad leaved trees chip on the thermo-physical parameters was not found.
