The authors summarized the development of the furniture and customized home furnishings industry in China. The situation of the industry chain was analyzed and a framework model was established. The impacts of customized home furnishings on chain structure, sales and services, and core competitiveness were discussed. Internet thinking and "Multi-user" concept were proposed including digital transformation strategy, development from custom to factory, panel production factory or equipment factory as the core. Suggestions on further development of the customized home furnishings industry were provided.
