In order to improve leaching resistance of copper-based wood preservatives, the authors collected and summarized relevant literature on wood treatment such as surface modification, pretreatment and post-treatment, and adding additives such as proteins, tannic acid, rosin and silicasol. Suggestions were made for development of copper-based wood preservatives with better anti-leach ability.
